National and local companies headline the Midwest’s first conference dedicated to marketing analytics.
Experts from Mattel, Maui Jim, GlynnDevins, Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Black & Veatch and other leading organizations will present at the Marketing Analytics Strategy Summit on Sept. 20 — the Midwest’s first conference devoted to marketing analytics.
Each speaker will share how they use analytics to increase revenue, discover new business opportunities and drive overall strategy for their organization.
“Done right, marketing analytics is one of the most powerful competitive advantages available to businesses today,” said Matt Hertig, the CEO of Alight Analytics, which is hosting the summit.
“Too many marketers don’t realize just how influential their marketing data can be. They might use it to understand how their campaigns performed, but they haven’t taken the next logical step. They aren’t using analytics to figure out what they should do going forward.”
Attendees will hear how Mattel uses its marketing data to guide business decisions, including its strategies for getting analytics insights to the decision-makers who need them most. Maui Jim will share how it has supercharged its buy-online, pickup-in-store program by connecting data from its online and brick-and-mortar activities. Hill’s Pet Nutrition will discuss how it monitors and studies its marketing performance around the world.
“Analytics is more than just measuring clicks and conversions,” said Michelle Jacobs, Alight Analytics’ president and co-founder. “It’s using that data to uncover underlying patterns and trends so you can optimize your marketing and lead strategy for your entire organization.”
Based in Kansas City, Alight Analytics empowers brands and agencies across North America to better manage their marketing data and harness it for actionable business intelligence. Alight is also the creator of ChannelMix, the first data aggregation platform designed for marketers by marketers.
The Marketing Analytics Strategy Summit will run from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Boulevard Brewing Co. in Kansas City. Admission costs $159 and includes a barbecue lunch and a happy hour and networking session at the end of the day.
The event’s sponsors are emfluence, the Helzberg School of Management at Rockhurst University, Sandler Training by Coffman Group, Digital Summit Kansas City, LandaJob and Infegy.
