Alight Analytics President Michelle Jacobs has been chosen for the 2019 class of Kansas City Women Who Mean Business, one of the region’s most prestigious awards for women executives and entrepreneurs.
Each year, the Kansas City Business Journal recognizes 25 women business leaders who have built remarkable careers while making significant contributions to the larger community.
Jacobs and this year’s other honorees will be recognized during an awards ceremony on Aug. 23. This is the 20th year for the program.
“It’s an honor to be selected for Women Who Mean Business and to be in the company of so many exceptional executives,” Jacobs said. “For me — and I think for many of us — the work is its own reward. There’s nothing quite as thrilling as throwing yourself into the adventure of growing a business from the ground up.”
With her co-founder, Matt Hertig, Jacobs leads one of America’s fastest-growing private companies, with three consecutive appearances on the Inc. 5000 list. She is a previous Central Midwest finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year, and was selected for Ingram’s 40 Under 40, among other honors.
